About Us

Owners, Jim & Lori High

Hello! We are Jim & Lori High and reside in Brookhaven, GA. We discovered the North Georgia Mountain in the early 1990's and started investing in the area. It is a wonderful get away from the hot summers of Atlanta or Florida with the temperature always about 10 degree cooler than metro Atlanta. We have had homes on VRBO for over 15 years and manage them ourselves. We travel extensively for work/play and want our homes to represent the best vacation or get away experience you can have. We keep our homes in tip top shape so that you feel like the first guest that has walked in our homes. All of our homes come with a boat between the first of April and end of October. What fun is the lake without a boat? Our homes are lakefront and all are on deep water. Your boat is ready for you at your personal dock. Our homes are decorated with you the guest in mind and come with standard amenities such as starter toiletries, basic spices and paper goods so that whether a long or short trip you will have the essentials at the house for your arrival. All of our homes have an outdoor firepit and we supply the wood! We hope you will consider staying with us. We would like to welcome you to our group of guests that have stayed with us as repeat guests year after year.

BEAUTIFUL LAKE NOTTELY

Nottely Reservoir lies in the state of Georgia on the southeastern edge of the Tennessee River watershed, nestled in the mountains and valleys of the Chattahoochee National Forest. This mountain lake with deep, clear water is a perfect place for jet ski fun while taking in the surrounding scenic views

Lake Nottely is 20 miles long and has 4,180 surface acres at normal summer pool elevations. Construction of Nottely Dam began in 1941 and was completed in 1942. The dam is 184 feet high and stretches 2,300 feet across the Nottely River. Nottely has a flood-storage capacity of 100,000 acre-feet. The Chattahoochee National Forest, which borders a substantial portion of the lake, adds to the scenic quality of the area. Nottely is noted for its black and strip
